With servo-zoom control and suitable for both handheld and gimbal-mounted shooting, this is a well-balanced & dependable lens for videographers or film-makers who want to work with as minimal a setup as possible. Nikon's high-performance glass and Meso Amorphous optical coatings ensure remarkable clear footage at any distance, even in strong sunlight or studio lighting. 

This lens can be told apart from standard photographic NIKKOR Z lenses, thanks to a yellow ring, signifying that this is engineered specifically for video. This shows that the lens is compatible with a range of video-centric accessories, such as matte boxes and follow focus systems. The lens features video-specific functions such as ease in/out, which reduces the need for the use of a follow focus module, plus customisable zoom speed which can be chosen from 11 different levels to suit the task at hand. 
Position record & recall enables re-framing of shots between takes, linear manual focussing delivers accurate, repeatable results and the direction of the focus/zoom rings can be reversed where desired. 

Suitable for capturing a whole host of different shots, the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm is capable of shooting near and far. With a minimum focussing distance of only 34cm between 28 & 50mm, and only 57cm at 135mm, capture dynamic close ups with ease, and without the need to swap out for a wider alternative lens. Via a PC with NX Tether installed, or a smart device running SnapBridge/NX Field, the lens can also be zoomed remotely, reducing any chance of shots being compromised by operational shake. 
The lens is supplied with a rectangular lens hood, which features a filter window enabling adjustments to Variable ND filters, without the need to remove the hood whilst shooting. 

Whether in the studio or out on location, the NIKKOR Z 28-135mm F4 PZ is equally at home. Thanks to high-performance dust and drip/splash resistance and Nikon's fluorine coating, the lens is suitable for use even in harsh conditions, whilst being easy to clean up when needed.
