To launch DJI Neo 2, simply put it on the palm of your hand, point it towards you and press the take off button to launch from your hand. A new Return-to-Palm feature also now allows Neo to precisely locate your palm, return and land safely on it, making flights easier and more fun than ever. Neo 2 can follow you even without a controller, ensuring every moment is captured with ease. For a greater degree of control it can be connected with DJI RC-N3 or RC 2 remotes, or for an immersive first-person experience, put on DJI Goggles and control via motion with the RC Motion controller.

DJI Neo 2 is the ultimate in flexible control. Choose from a number of different control methods:

• Gesture Control
  Control the direction and proximity of Neo 2 with your hands: point your palm towards the drone to guide it up or down or from side to side, or use both palms to control it's proximity to you - no remote is required to adjust the camera angle. 
• DJI Fly Mobile App
  Neo 2 can be controlled via your smartphone with a simple connection to the DJI Fly smartphone App. Mimicking the use of a traditional controller, use virtual joysticks and quickly delve into the joy of flying with no external remote required. 
• Voice Control via Mobile
  Neo2 supports voice control, letting you send demands to the drone via your smartphone or Bluetooth earphones, ideal for making adjustments when cycling or on a run. When connected to your phone it is able to capture audio with intelligent noise reduction, automatically filtering out propeller noise, removing the need for a second person when filming. 
• Traditional Remote Controls
  Neo 2 can be paired with DJI's RC-N3 or RC 2 remote controllers for a more traditional control experience. When paired to these remotes, Neo 2 achieves a maximum video transmission distance of up to 10km, and control is put across via traditional remote control sticks, ideal for more complex flying patterns. 
• Motion Control
  Pair up Neo 2 with the DJI RC Motion 3 controller and DJI Goggles N3 /3 for flight movement via hand movements, as well as an immersive first-person view (FPV), putting you in the pilot's seat of the drone.

Neo 2 features a 12MP 1/2in CMOS sensor with F2.2 aperture and a high-performance image processor for cleaner footage. It can shoot video up to 4K/60p or slow-motion footage up to 4K/100p. For mobile-oriented social creators it can also capture vertical footage up to 2.7K, all stabilised by a 2-axis gimbal. It also features DJI's Portrait Optimisation technology, enhancing brightness, contrast and skin tones when shooting portraits, for flattering, lifelike results. 

Despite only being a compact, entry-level drone, Neo 2 does deliver high-quality imaging results. It supports DJI's ActiveTrack and SelfieShot functions, automatically framing subjects for smooth hands-free shooting. Combined with sharp 4K video recording, Neo 2 provides detailed, cinematic quality footage. It features a faster tracking speed, now up to 12m/s, allowing for smooth tracking even during running or cycling while omnidirectional obstacle sensing, new to Neo 2 ensures safer tracking from the front and sides, enabling easy, hassle-free capture of fast-paced action. 
Neo 2 also features more tracking directions, with eight parameters (forward, backward, left, right and diagonals) which enable smoother and more natural follow shots. In more complex environments, Neo 2 can switch to rear tracking mode, keeping your subject in focus, without the worry of it bumping into obstacles. 

Neo 2 sees the introduction of omnidirectional obstacle sensing to this line, meaning that it is able to detect obstacles when tracking from the front and sides, meaning that even the most inexperienced of drone pilots can operate Neo 2 without worrying about running into obstacles. It is also supplied as standard with a propeller guard which makes flying and carrying safer, removing any worry of damaging propellers either in flight or in transit.
