LOTUTEC provides a clear view, whatever the weather due to dust and water repellant surfaces. A multi-layer coating provides a bright, high constrast viewing image that is crystal clear whilst high transmission SCHOTT glass ensures a perfect image resolution in low light conditions. 90% Light Transmission: The Ultra-FL Concept is containing several SCHOTT fluoride glasses for absolute color fidelity, brightness, clarity and the finest resolution of details, even in the harshest conditions and most challenging environment. Zeiss FieldFlattener Technology also provides extreme edge sharpness.

Ultra wide field of view

These binoculars offer up to 130m field of view, essential for detecting fast moving birds at the edge of the viewing field. The ultra wide field of view significantly increases your chance of success at spotting quick, nimble little birds in their natural habitat. The binoculars provide a perfect overview in difficult terrain and the close focus distance of 1.95 metres allows the exploration of even the smallest details.

Relaxed, precise observation

Stay relaxed when observing thanks to the perfect ergonomic placement of the focusing wheel. The placement allows you to keep your fingers and hand relaxed, meaning that you can comfortably observe for longer periods of time. Additionally, the binoculars feature an ErgoBalance Concept, which moves the weight of the binoculars towards the back of the binocular, so you do not need to counter against the weight - resulting in effortless and relaxed prolonged observation with minimum fatigue and reduced stress on the muscles of the upper and lower arms. Moreover, the SmartFocus system, with 1.6 turns from close focus to infinity, has just the right speed - it's fast yet precise. The lenses contain Fluoride and this results in high resolution and contrast, colour fidelity, and minimal colour fringing, therefore providing exremely sharp, high resolution images - this is particularly useful when observing similar species. Clear images allow you to spot the small differences and thus identify the species.
