The unique series of cooling fins surrounding the lamp mean it has no need for an internal cooling fan. This is especially important when capturing video because this lamp is absolutely quiet with no fan noise to ruin your audio! Finally, it uses a flicker-free design to ensure great lighting when capturing high frame rate / slow motion videography.
