The complete package
The LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 is one a series of fixed focal length, large-aperture F1.8 lenses based on the L-Mount system standard. These lenses feature a common size and position of control parts to provide practical advantages in use, and the centre of gravity of these lenses is almost the same so that it is easy to exchange lenses quickly with minimum balance adjustment when the camera is on a gimbal. Common filters can also be used thanks to the same diameter, and the descriptive performance of these lenses is also consistent.

High Optical Quality
The Panasonic Lumix S 50mm F1.8 lens is comprised of nine lens elements in eight groups including three aspherical lenses, one ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lens and one UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens. This lens construction minimises aberrations and ensures superb resolution. The lens also features a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm, which produces beautiful bokeh.
