This high quality dust and splash-proof macro lens has a 19cm minimum focussing distance at 1:1 life-size magnification. It also has the MSC autofocus mechanism and an internal focussing system which won't change the length of the lens when focussing, which is critical at close working distances.

Sometimes the harshest conditions provide the most dramatic photo opportunities. The lens is dust and splashproof, removing concern for your equipment and letting you get on with getting the shot.

The lens includes MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) autofocus mechanism which makes autofocus with this lens silent. This enables the lens to be used for shooting skittish subjects, even close up and in other situations where silence is required.

The 60mm Macro has a Focus Limit switch, which allows you to establish a narrower range of focus and zoom in on your subject faster - particularly useful in shallow-depth-of-field macro shooting. It has a convenient shooting distance and magnification display window to enhance macro shooting control.
