The Canon BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control allows you to trigger the shutter remotely from up to 5m away with selected Canon EOS DSLR cameras, EOS R Mirrorless cameras and PowerShot compact cameras. See the compatibility list in the main description below.

Utilising your cameras on-board bluetooth, the controller secures a reliable connection even without line of sight – perfect for when shooting in those hard to get-to angles, group shots and selfies – and thanks to the BR-E1’s wireless design you never have to touch the camera, completely eliminating camera shake.

Simple and reliable wireless camera control

Designed for use with the Canon EOS 77D and EOS 800D DSLRs, the BR-E1 Wireless Remote Control allows you to wirelessly release your cameras shutter up to 5m away from any direction; even without line of sight. Utilizing the EOS 77D’s on-board bluetooth, the controller is an easy and quick way to trigger your camera. Whether shooting from awkward or hard to get too angles, group shots and selfies or long exposures on a tripod, the BR-E1 ensures you never have to touch the camera, enabling maximum image sharpness.

Wireless video shooting

As well as triggering the shutter, the BR-E1 also has support for zooming in and out in conjunction with the separately available PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adapter and EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens. You can also start and stop video capture with the press of a button - a great tool for vloggers.
