High-speed, quiet AF

Although this lens offers full-time manual focus, it is also equipped with a stepping motor that enables smooth, high-speed autofocusing that is notably quiet, providing a fast and precise performance.

Three-dimensional impression

Optical design controls spherical aberrations to help endure large, soft, rounded bokeh while enhancing the three-dimensional impression of the subject. A rounded seven blade diaphragm also contributes to the smooth bokeh.

Durable

The bayonet mount is constructed from brass for ensured accuracy and durability. In addition, rubber sealing is incorporated in the mount design, making it both dust and splash-resistant.
