The Sigma 35mm F2 DG DN | C is a premium compact prime designed to be used with the latest high-resolution cameras. Not only does it deliver exception image quality across the whole frame, but it's F2 aperture allows you to achieve a shallow depth of field and blur-free, handheld images in low light. It's 35mm focal length is perfect for travel, street, wedding, portrait and more, as well as general everyday shooting. It is portable enough to be carried around for casual daily use, but thanks to it's outstanding optics, fast autofocus and impressive build, is equally well-suited to heavy professional use. 

Whilst only weighing 325g, this lens does not scrimp on build quality. It's ideal for street, travel, wedding and event photographers who need a compact but robust lens that can easily be carried around all day. The lens also features a dust and splash-proof mount for extra peace of mind if conditions do take a less than ideal turn.

Despite it's compact nature, the lens delivers outstanding optical quality across the whole frame, even on ultra-high resolution sensors. It features 3 aspherical elements and 1 SLD element which helps to combat chromatic aberration and distortion. Vignetting is very minimal, even when used wide open at F2 and the front element features advanced optical coatings to reduce flare and ghosting. 

The lens' fast aperture of F2 makes it possible to achieve a shallow depth of field for beautiful bokeh, allowing you to isolate your subject and create more impactful images. The bokeh is smooth and attractive, so doesn't distract from the in-focus subject. The bright aperture is also useful when using handheld, as it reduces the risk of camera shake.
