The Sigma 14-24mm is a fast, wide lens, perfect for a range of shooting types. This ultra-wide to wide lens is suited to landscape, astrophotography, interiors and more. The lens has a constant F2.8 aperture throughout the focal range, meaning it performs well in low light and affords a good amount of control over depth of field.

The lens is made up of 18 elements in 13 groups, including FLD and SLD elements which help to minimise chromatic aberrations and colour fringing, ensuring edge-to-edge sharpness. The lens also features aspherical elements which help to reduce distortion, especially useful on a wide-angle lens like this. Sigma's Super Multi Layer Coating on the front element also helps to combat flare and ghosting.

This lens is dust and splash resistant, with a water and oil-repellent coating on the front element, helping to protect the lens when being used outdoors. This means even if the weather does turn, you can continue to shoot with confidence and focus on the task at hand. Despite it's ruggedness, the lens is still fairly compact for such a fast wide-angle.
