This lens offers a 1:1 magnification ration, making it a true macro lens, ideal for close ups. The focal range allows distance between you and your subject while the lens provides excellent performance in low-light and gives depth-of-field control thanks to it's F2.8 aperture. The lens includes one Special Low Dispersion (SLD) element within it's construction which reduces chromatic aberration, distortion and delivers images which are sharp across the frame. Flare and ghosting are suppressed with SIGMA's Super Multi-layer Coating.
