Panasonic VW-HU1 Handle Unit for X1500 Camcorder

The Panasonic VW-HU1 Detachable Handle Unit features two XLR audio inputs, a microphone holder, start/stop record button, zoom lever, and a built-in LED light with dimming function. The VW-HU1 attaches to the top of the camcorder securely and easily with a single screw locking mechanism. The 2 XLR audio inputs feature volume controls and selectable mic/line and +48V phantom power features, allowing you to add two channels of audio to your recording. The mic holder on the top fits a standard shotgun mic for further convenience. Camcorder controls include a start/stop record button and zoom lever, and there's also a tally LED that indicates when you are recording. The diffused LED light on the front of the unit allows you to illuminate dimly lit spaces, and the dimming dial on the handle can be used to easily dim or increase the brightness from 30%-100%. There is one shoe mount and one mounting thread on the top to add additional accessories.
