Enhanced Video Quality and Optimised Workflows From Shooting To Post-Production

Proxy recording makes seamless workflow possible. Native Camera to Cloud integration with Adobe's Frame.io mean that images can be automatically uploaded, backed up, shared and worked on jointly via the Cloud. The Lumix GH7 features the world's first 32-bit float recording, eliminating the need to adjust audio recording levels mid-shoot, when paired up with the new DMW-XLR2 microphone adapter (sold separately). Internal recording of 5.7K ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes RAW HQ as well as the ability to load original LUT files and apply new colour looks directly to photos and videos with REAL TIME LUT means users can effortlessly generate original and shareable stills and videos without the need of post-production editing on a computer, expanding the scope of creative possibilities.

Ultra-Fast Sensor Readout

The updated Venus sensor has twice the power of it's predecessors, with the capability of 75fps burst-shooting or up to 240fps variable frame rate slow motion video footage. The speed of the sensor readout enables the GH7 to limit rolling shutter distortion, aiding capture of ultra-slow motion footage even of a fast-moving subject.

Reliability In The Field

The Lumix GH7 will not be held back by the elements. With dust and splash resistance, and freeze resistance down to -10c, your project does not have to be put on hold just because the weather has changed. Unlimited video recording has been made possible with efficient heat-dissipation processing and the integration of a cooling fan. The incorporation of a convenient tilt-free angle monitor which does not interfere with HDMI or USB cables when tilted enables a user to focus solely on the task at hand.

Video Production using a Wide Variety of ARRI Looks

With the new Software Upgrade Key DMW-SFU3A from Panasonic (sold separately), ARRI LogC3 is enabled and seamless colour-matching with ARRI's digital cinema cameras can be achieved. The image processing of the ARRI LogC3 curve on Lumix GH7 has been certified by ARRI for the implementation of this function. Video shot in ARRI LogC3 can be easily converted to your favourite look. The ARRI Look Library Simulator contains 87 high-quality ARRI looks and in the ARRI Look Library Simulator online you can easily check for the best suited ARRI Look File for the job at hand. You are also able to store the LUT package for 709 conversion (ARRI Look Library LogC3 to Rec709 3D-LUTs) in the LUT library of your GH7 and then combine it with REAL TIME LUT to capture videos with ARRI LUTs straight out-of-camera.
