LEE100 Filter Holder
This is part of the brand new LEE100 system that is adaptable, intuitive and modular which makes it a game changer for the filter world. This filter holder is fully compatible with all existing LEE 100mm filters and adapter rings.
The LEE100 holder is engineered from injection-moulded composite materials. The holder is sturdy, rigid, durable and 16% lighter than its predecessor. This holder is also fully compatible with all existing LEE 100mm filters and adapter rings.
Spring Release and Locking Ring
All you need to when using this holder is pull on the spring release, which you can operated one-handed, to slot the holder on to the adapter ring.
The blue locking ring has three possible settings, neutral, half lock and full lock.
Neutral: The holder can be rotated and quickly removed.
Half Lock: The holder can be rotated but is locked to the adapter ring and cannot be removed from it.
Full Lock: The holder cannot be rotated, and nor can it be removed from the adapter ring.
Another new feature is the modular filter-guide blocks, which come in one, two or three-slot configurations. Their simplified design means they simply snap onto the holder and remain securely in place until the photographer is ready to remove them. The new tapered profile gives improved resistance when positioning filters.
Lee 0.6 Neutral Density Graduated Medium Filter
This filter helps to balance exposure when working in high-contrast situations. It is specifically designed to selectively control brightness in difficult lighting. The filter's design places the 0.6, 2-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the centre or the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The medium-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with an apparent but not rigid horizontal line, such as when mountains or trees protrude into the sky.
