And, with power coming directly from the 3.5mm audio jack, the microphone does not require a battery and is always ready to go from the moment you turn on your camera. Weighing 64g, the microphone adds hardly any extra weight to your camera and fits easily into a pocket or camera bag. The microphone features a secure hot shoe mount that secures the microphone to the camera.
